The Humane Research Trust continually attempts to be as accurate as possible when describing products listed on our webshop, and always tries to ensure prices are correct and up to date at the time of publishing. However, we cannot guarantee that the product descriptions and prices are accurate, complete, reliable, current or error-free. We reserve the right to refuse orders where product information has been incorrectly published including prices and promotions.

RETURNS & REFUNDS

By buying products from our online shop, you are helping the Trust fund scientists to develop new medical research techniques, without the use of animals, for the permanent benefit of people.

If you are not entirely happy with your purchase we are here to help!

Returns

If, in the unlikely event you are not completely happy with your purchase, you have 14 calendar days to return any item you have ordered, from the date you receive it. Your item/s must be returned unused and in their original packaging, complete with a copy of your original order and a letter/copy email explaining the reason for return, to our registered address listed at the beginning of this policy.

Please note we cannot be held responsible for any products that fail to reach us, or for delays in your return reaching our registered office. We encourage any return to be posted back to us via a registered postal service.

We ask that you arrange and pay for the return postage (unless the goods are faulty). Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of shipping will be deducted from your refund.

If goods are faulty you can request a replacement instead of a refund.

Refunds

Once we receive your returned item, it will be checked and we will notify you that it has been received. After inspecting the item, we will contact you regarding the status of your refund. The Humane Research Trust will not refund any damaged, used, or incorrect products. If your return is approved, we will initiate an immediate refund to the credit/debit card used to make the purchase. The time it will take for this to be applied to your debit/credit account will depend on your card issuer’s policies. We regret that any charitable donations added to an order cannot be refunded.

YOUR RIGHT TO CANCEL

If you would like to cancel your order, please contact us as soon as possible by calling us on 0161 439 8041 – Monday to Friday 9am – 4pm or email us at info@humaneresearch.org.uk. If your order has already been despatched, please return it to our contact address listed at the start of this policy, for a full refund of the product cost. Unfortunately we cannot refund postage charges once despatched.
