There will be an Animal Blessing Service on the 8 June 2008 starting at 3.00pm, to be held at:

Craigiebuckler Church Hall

Springfield Road

ABERDEEN

All animals with their human companions welcome.

St Asaph Group - Walk the Walk

Saturday 12 April 2008 starting at 12.00 noon

Member of the St Asaph Group and their friends are doing a sponsored walk from the Events Arena Rhyl to Frith Beach Prestatyn.

The walk is suitable for all ages and levels of fitness. If you would like to join in, or sponsor them, please ring Pearl Davies on 07769 504463 she would love to hear from you, or call Jenny at H.O.

THRT join the Fundraising Standards Board (FRSB)

THRT has joined a new self-regulatory body for fundraising in the UK, a world first.  The Fundraising Standards Board launched to the public with nearly 250 members, all of whom have committed to a strict set of codes and a Fundraising Promise pledging to treat the public with respect, fairness, honesty and clarity in all their money raising activities.

As a member, we has also signed up to an independent, robust and transparent complaints process which means that the public now has somewhere they can go if they are unhappy about how a member charity is raising cash.  Membership of the scheme is voluntary and will be visible to the public through the use of the new Fundraising Standards Board’s logo (a tick) on the charity’s fundraising materials.
